Glickenhaus Le Mans Hypercar

It has been over 50 years since a car made in America has won First Overall at Le Mans.
We have been working for 50 years to change that.
This is Just The Beginning.
In addition to our factory LMH race cars, we will also offer customers LMH race cars.
For more information, please get in touch with us.

If it can’t race the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it’s not that hyper.
— Jesse Glickenhaus

And with both our cars #708 and #709 we completed Le Mans 2021 on our first try! we are very happy and proud.

A Once in a Lifetime Chance

"Once in a lifetime chance" is thrown around a lot. This offer really is. For 50 years we have driven race cars like our Lola T70, our Ford MK-IV, our Ferrari P/3, 412P and 159S hundreds of thousand miles on public roads. To road register our 1967 Ford MK-IV was simple. All we needed were a seatbelt and treaded tires which it already had. Today it's a much more complex task and involves crash testing, emission compliance, massive engineering, and a lot of money.

Engineered To Succeed

With well over 20,000 of collaborative engineering,
the Glickenhaus 007 offers a unique blend of engineering artistry
from some of the most respected engineering partners in the industry.

The Engine

French manufacturer Pipo Moteurs developed a twin-turbo, 3.5-liter V8 specifically for the 007C. Based around the cylinder head architecture of the company’s I4 WRC engines, the V8 is mated to a bespoke block. With power output capped by regulation at 500kW, the engine is relatively low revving, with reliability and linear power delivery a prime consideration. The engine features a new 'artificial intelligence throttle' which keeps the turbos spooled up regardless of driver input.

The Subsystems

A long time partner of SCG, Podium Advanced Technologies engineered and developed several unique engineering solutions for the 007. From the comprehensive design and development of the 007C's electronic system to special custom solutions such as the steering wheel, Podium Advanced Technologies engineered a majority of the vehicles subsystems even down to its innovative monocoque.

Thoroughly Tested

With over 50 years of Formula One development experience, Sauber is one of the top players in the industry when it comes to aerodynamic research and development. Sauber collaborated with SCG on the 007's aerodynamic profile, having conducted a 60 percent scale as well as full scale wind tunnel test and analysis of the vehicle to ensure the digitally simulated performance matched the actual performance prior to the race.
