HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE GLICKENHAUS COMMUNITY FROM FORZO WATCHES

Back in 2020, we decided that we wanted to create a watch brand that was inspired by the golden age of motorsport. An era of racing that was defined by effortless glamour and swashbuckling heroes, driving achingly beautiful supercars on some of the most prestigious circuits in the world.

Our vision at FORZO was clear, but all we needed was a few people to share it. And that’s where Glickenhaus came in. We’ve known Jim and Jesse from their first participation at the Nurburgring 24 Hours with the SCG003C, and we were also there when that incredible car claimed pole position on the toughest race circuit in the world.

From the outset, the team’s passion, dedication, and determination to succeed stood out: along with their incredible connection to a devoted army of fans worldwide. Motorsport had never seen anything like it. And when the Glickenhaus Le Man’s project coincided with the launch of the FORZO brand, we just knew that we had to be involved.

As we got to discussing the finer details of the Glickenhaus watch, it was clear that Jim and Jesse’s vision was a perfect fit with our own. They played an active role in designing the stunning Le Mans chronograph, complete with a 24-hour timer, and Jim’s message on the case back – “enjoy the journey” – summed up what we all felt. Perhaps most incredibly of all, he offered to set up a WhatsApp Group that allowed watch owners interact directly with the team, creating a real community of enthusiastic devotees. Not to mention putting a FORZO sticker on the car with the names of all the watch owners. It was fan engagement of the sort that has never been seen before in any watch collaboration with a racing team.

Then came the Le Mans 24 Hours itself. We were so proud to see the team’s talented driver line-up wearing our watches, which mirrored the perfect reliability of the Glickenhaus Hypercars: both finishing in the top five on their incredible Le Man’s debut.

It was a stunning achievement for the entire team and a true privilege to be associated with such a wonderful collection of people. Our huge congratulations to Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus for resurrecting that golden era of endurance racing so successfully, and a massive thank you to everyone who bought a watch and shared it in our story.

We’ve got big plans together for 2022 and beyond, with watches that will pay tribute not only to the Glickenhaus Le Man’s campaign but also to the squad’s other projects. A few of the original 2021 Le Man’s watches are still available for purchase, both from the dedicated FORZO website and the Glickenhaus site, so please hurry if you would like to get a hold of one.
