Boot on the Road: Connecticut to Mexico (Day 3)

Pinar O.

🚩 Day 3

We started the third day with a fantastic big breakfast and grabbed all the energy needed to be on the road again. If you want to meet us on the road while charging our second car Tesla, you can see the Boot and get your limited edition Glickenhaus Boot Hat.

Here is the plan for the day, Effingham, IL, St. Louis, MO, Springfield, MO.

We had a very nice and easy day on the road. We've made new friends while buying gas for the Boot and charging the Tesla. Thank your kind support. Your encouraging words are precious to us. Today once again, we understood that Boot is a magnet. An unbelievably powerful magnet. It is spreading its energy to the environment wherever it is.

People are walking towards and looking as if they were hypnotized. They can't take their eyes off. Today was a first, and a woman followed Boot in her vehicle to the parking lot. "What is this?" she asked in surprise. You should've seen your happiness. After having dinner as a team in another place, we went out, and people were waiting. In short, the Boot is a charming beauty. She draws attention and poses. It gets prettier when people look at it. My son told me that today, "Mom, for someone who wants to get attention, I can't think of anything other than Boot. From both sides of the vehicle, people always wonder who also uses this thing. The Boot is like a spell which is creating obsessive attention." It is a comment by a 19-year-old student who is studying journalism and film.

If you're wondering my thoughts as a woman, here it comes. Boot gives power to people. You feel like a superhero with a cape on you. Of course, it is different from the vehicles that you used to, but is it difficult? Nope! Never. As a small size Mediterranean woman of 5.2 feet and 115 pounds, I would like to say that I used it very comfortably.

A young man asked me a question today when he saw me in the driver's seat. "Oh my gosh, what the hell is this! How is it even possible, and you are a woman? How can you drive this? Isn't it difficult? Isn't it hard? Isn't the steer well heavy?" I told him Boot has the lightest one ever that I experienced in my life. It is susceptible and sensitive, which is true! After I replied to him, somebody completed my sentence—a wise man who looked like in his 70s and was chatting with us at that moment.

"Glickenhaus is making these machines. Nothing is impossible for them. Search them on Google." Isn't he right?
